About us

The house "Ewentegna Tamir" is part of the Bethel Movement. The residents are persons with physical and mental disabilities who live with their care-takers. It was founded in 2012 and it is our first home in Ethiopia, and in Africa. The house was first established in a rented property in Addis Ababa, but we were able to purchase a house in Debre Zeyit, about 50 kilometers away from the capital of Ethiopia. We invite you to get to know its residents and make friends with them :).
